About John Threadgold
I am a qualified therapist holding an MA in Focusing and Experiential Psychotherapy. I run a private therapy practise called New Focus Therapy, and I am also a drugs counsellor at a local Drugs centre.As a therapist, my aim is to build up a therapeutic relationship with you that is characterised by unconditional acceptance, empathy, where I try and understand you, and also being genuine. I find that these qualities help clients to explore issues that are important to them, and that they begin to feel better, and make constructive changes to their lives. I also use special Mindfulness and and Focusing skills, which help clients to work through their issues on an deeper level. This therapy can help with:

I am also a Focusing Teacher. Focusing is a wonderful non touch body oriented approach to emotional healing and well-being, that you can learn outside of therapy. I offer a special taster Focusing Session for £15, as well as a six hour individual Focusing course.
I also offer Low Cost Counselling for people income based state benefits, like JSA, from a £15 per session.
